Flight Lieutenant (pilot) with #3 Operational Training Unit, Patricia Bay, British Columbia. Killed December 2, 1944, at the age of 30. George has no known grave. His name is inscribed on the Ottawa War Memorial, Ottawa, Ontario, as well as on a commemorative plaque at the site of his aircraft crash in British Columbia. He is also commemorated on the Oakville Trafalgar High School 1939-1945 Honour Roll.
