Description
Henry Sylvester, Elizabeth and LeRoy Dean were three of the children of Sylvester Dean Oakley and Mary Elizabeth De Cew. There were 3 other children in the family, all born in Oakville, Ontario.

Their father was a blacksmith in Grimsby. His uncle, Thomas Dean, had loaned him the money to purchase the building.

Henry Sylvestor was a tailor, Le Roy dean was a photographer/artist who married Jeanette Lena Evans. Elizabeth married Linus Woolverton.
