    Francis Charles Bowring was born in Milton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowring. He enlisted in the air force in 1941. He was eventually attached to a squadron in Italy. His plane crashed near Termoli, Italy. He is buried in the Sangro River War Cemetery.

    The house was moved to Robert Street

    View of Main Street north taken from the corner of Brown Street. It shows the house next to the church which was moved Robert Street and the section of Church building which housed the Sunday School and which was demolished to make way for the Christian Education Building.
