    Mount Vernon is pictured at the top of the hill. Postcard sent by Arthur Hughes to his fiancee in Wimbledon, England in 1919. He went over to marry her in 1920. Sent 10 February 1919.

    Reverse side reads: "Dear Arthur, Hope you are coming along well. Just been to PO but no letter yet. Hope to see you soon if possible. All well at home. Had a nice trip Sunday. Well this is all from us. May"
