Results

    The cornerstone of the Oakville High School located on Reynolds Street was laid in 1908, prior to that it had been housed in the old Oakville Public School building. In 1947 it was renamed Oakville Trafalgar High School. In 1992 it was moved to its current location on Devon Road.

    The Glen School was originally built in 1950 with several additions. The bell mounted on the cairn was taken from the original school house on Prince Street.

    The small frame house at 196 Eastern Avenue was Acton’s second schoolhouse, moved to this site.

    Hornby School.

    The front and south side of SS#16, Stone School which stood on the corner of Highway #7 and 22nd Sideroad. It was dismantled after it was closed.

    Public School on Education Lane. The C.S. Smith home stands behind the fence on the right. New brick section was built in 1892 in front of older stone school.
