    There are some things we may never see. Things that are masked in dark. As the moon gleams bright, the world lies in deep slumber. Strange objects come to life, haunting everyone’s dreams. But when light rises at dusk, everything changes back to the way it used to be.

    Tannery Park is one of the newest parks in Oakville and is home to an observation deck, this funky artwork, the HMCS Oakville Cairn and an information plaque commorating the importance of the HMCS Oakville in the history of the Town. Definitely worth a visit!

    This information plaque was unveiled earlier in May 2016 and is based on the information in the book Oakville's Flower: The History Of HMCS Oakville by Sean E. Livingston.
